Creative phase
When you appoint Gary Winter Landscape Design as your Landscape Designer, we undertake all aspects of design and planning so that you have a clear understanding of how to achieve your desired outcome. You can choose your own construction team or we can take on the construction component of your project as well.
When choosing your landscape design, we keep in mind your geographic surroundings. We encourage you to consider the natural theme of your location so you retain an authentic feel to your landscape. Every garden space we design is in collaboration with our client, and we welcome your unique ideas and inspiration as part of the landscape design process.
What kind of environment would you like to create?
Some of the design principles you may wish to apply to your garden include:
- 70% of hard landscaping materials used to be reclaimed or recycled
- Minimum of 50% of plants are to have extra benefits beyond purifying the air, flower displays and colour, or scented etc
- Use Australian natives and/or indigenous plantings other than exotics where possible
- Shrub gardens to require minimal or no fertiliser where possible
- All fertilisers to be of an organic nature and/or derived from composts and used mostly for edible plantings
